If you ever played any Super Mario Bros. game you’ll surely know Yoshi. This dinosaur-like ally of the most popular plumber of the world is born from a little spotted egg as far back as 1990. Created by the Japanese designer Shigefumi Hino; Yoshi soon became a very important character in the colorful SMB universe. So much so that two years later he got a series all to himself! The first game of the Yoshi series was Yoshi’s Cookie for NES and Game Boy. Since then Yoshi has come a long way, appearing not only in more than 100 of games both as main or special guest character, but also in cartoons, comics, and in the notorious 93’s live-action cult movie!

The last game starring him was Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World for Nintendo 3DS; in this game set in a textile universe, Yoshi’s mission was to save the other yarn Yoshis which have been turned into Wonder Wools by Kamek. Yoshi's Island Easter Eggs is the last secret level in Yoshi's Island DS, found in World 5. It consists of eight rooms that contain 'Easter eggs' and Egg Blocks that tell how many rooms are cleared and how many are not, respectively. There are Middle Rings after each room (which has a locked door and a key to enter it with to move on). There is also a Stork Stop in every room.
